Juniors pack their bags

On Saturday 10th July, a group of 17 bleary teenagers gathered outside Tesco’s in Hexham for Tyne United’s first junior fundraiser. Despite the early (well, 9 o’clock!) start, the squad was full of cheerful enthusiasm for the oncoming bag pack. Armed with orange buckets, the squad trooped into the shop and three and a half hours later emerged triumphant, having raised an impressive £530.50 for equipment.
A huge thank you to all involved, especially Alex Pattinson and Caroline Pringle for supervising – well done!
