The Tyne United / Durham University Boat Club New Year's head will take place on Saturday 23rd January 2021 Racing 4.5km upstream on the River Tyne from Scotswood to Newburn.

The Tyne United / Durham University Boat Club New Years head will take place on Saturday 19th January 2019. Racing 4.5km upstream on the River Tyne from Scotswood to Newburn. A great start to the 2019 head racing season.

Boat and Trailer Locations

All Clubs and crews will boat from Tyne United Rowing club with the exception of TYNE RC and Newcastle University BC.

The Tyne United / Durham University Boat Club New Years head will take place on Saturday 27th January 2018. Racing 5km upstream on the River Tyne, Scotswood to Newburn this is a perfect run up event to the BUCS Head in February.
