A happy Sunday’s Rowing at Hexham
With a beautiful setting and water conditions to match, four of the Ducks (Lindsey, Judy, Maureen and Fiona) gathered at Hexham for the penultimate round of the series.
Accompanied by our stalwart supporters, cox Kat, coach Claire, & Dylan in team colours; we had a very pleasant day both on and off the water, with a great team effort all round.
Wise words on steering kept us well clear from the infamous Hexham weir, and the club put on a great spread with a warm welcome.
Took a bit of time to find our form but with two wins from the three races, we still are in the lead.
It promises to be an exciting final round in Tyne ARC in October. The races will return to sculling for that last day but we have really enjoyed these sweep outings.
