The TURC masters women were out in force for the New Year Head, with three quads and two doubles in various masters age group categories. The conditions were not overly kind, with a strong head wind and a fast flowing tide out, all crews had to dig deep. Once the race was completed everyone was similing and happy ready for a cuppa and some cake to tell tales of their afternoon racing.
Congratulation to Rachael and Maryam who won the women’s double race and to Sarah, Rachel, Kathryn and Sophie on winning the women’s masters C quad race. Well done to all who took part.
